Who We Are
In the 1990s, Dennis Lark developed an extrication training program on behalf of Ford Motor Company as an employee of the company's Design Analysis department.
Lark has managed the training program since it began, even after his formal retirement from Ford in 2006. Today, Lark works with Ford to identify scrap-designated vehicles that are loaned to train First Responders.
To date, the program has provided thousands of First Responders an opportunity to receive critical, hands-on training in extrication, fire suppression, airbag safety, vehicle shutdown procedures, and arson investigation.
Our vision is to create a Michigan-based center of excellence offering in-person and virtual training to First Responders around the world, with a focus on the future of mobility—from electrification to autonomy and beyond.
